Photography
Programme Overview
Photography is all about connection: connection to the world in front of the camera, creating a unique () that connects with those viewing it. On this course you will learn how to make this connection. We teach you how to create a solid workflow and how to use various cameras in our cutting edge in house studio. In this space you are given free reign to explore and experiment with all your creative ideas. In our field trips you will learn the skills needed to excel any outdoor photography and about the workings of a professional studio. We also recognise the importance of technology in enhancing photography, and we teach you how to do this using professional software, including Photoshop and Lightroom.

Jewelry Design
Programme Overview
Quality jewellery can help you stand out from the crowd, as can a quality education. Our one year jewellery design course will give you the skills to transform your ideas into workable, wearable designs. Our instructors help guide you through every step of the process. This will allow you to move from the technical skill of jewelry illustration to fully realised pieces. You will work out of our fully equipped in house workshop, which features the highest quality equipment (unique within the kingdom). . They also teach you how to work with different materials, and the art of stone setting.
Industry Lead Approach
The industry lead approach runs througout the course, with materials being produced being evaluated based on design, creativity, execution and originality. Our links to the prestigious designer Al Moussaly gives you an insight into the professional workings of a leading designer. This comes not just through being exposed to the process through a visit to their factory, but also through work being assessed through their criteria. Designs of s high caliber receive the Al Moussaly seal on their report.
Course Content
Module 1:Understanding Jewelry Design (90 Hours)
The student will be able to research and design jewellery as a quick sketch for a client or produce a rendered design for clients or for manufacturing. You will learn how to develop your work from a simple sketch to a real conceptual design art.
Module 2 part I: Working with Metal (60 Hours)
The students will learn basic jewelry making techniques by using hand tools to make three projects. They will learn how to draw the design on metal, how to produce texture, how to solder parts together and how to set a stone in a simple bezel setting. They will be able to use these tools on their own after the course. This course uses silver because it shares similarities as gold yet not as costly.
Module 2 part II: casting (30 Hours)
The students will learn wax carving by making four projects from wax; these projects cover all the major techniques of wax carving. They will also learn to make a rubber mold and how to inject it with a low temperature wax for mass production. They will be able to use these techniques on their own to produce jewelry using wax.
